"I am the Revolution"

 

My campaign in Italy proved that I am destined to be a great leader. By November 1799, I established a new government, wrote a new constitution, and made myself head of state under the title First Consul. When I was 30 years old, I was the most powerful man in France.

 

“The revolution is over” I told all my people, “I AM the revolution!”

 

“The revolution is safe on my watch. I am the product of the revolution myself. But the chaos and uncertainty of the Revolution is going to be over. People should go back to their private interests, their private concerns. And the new government will provide the order and the stability and the strength to allow that to happen”

 

I am the savior of the French revolution because I ended it. I am the revolution because it was a series of wars; wars that I was able to win. Nobody else could have accomplished what I did because destiny required me to.

 

The revolution happened because of governments that didn’t care about what the people wanted and I succeeded because I took into consideration the peoples wants and needs. The government system that I put in place brought equality and stability to a torn country.

 

I was a product of the revolution because I was born in the midst of it. If I were born any earlier or later everything would’ve been different. The time I was born in was significant because I was meant to lead my people through the tough times and through all the wars. I’m smart and strategical, but anyone could learn how to be that. I was the one because I never lost confidence in myself.
